Holy Cross School’s Journalism Club is proud to publish the school newspaper, the Crusader Chronicle. Students learn the basics of journalism including – how to generate story ideas that appeal to readers, develop lead sentences, conduct interviews, and cite sources. Students act as the writers, researchers and editors. They develop their topic ideas, discover facts by conducting research and interviews, write the copy and edit the copy. This offers the students real-world experience and they have a sense of pride when each newspaper goes to print. The Crusader Chronicle is distributed through the school and parish community and serves as a great source of information about school happenings.
